We really like John Barrowman here at FTN…
Ever since we first met him as the cocky captain Jack in Doctor Who, we’ve always enjoyed his work.
And, for the record, I had him pegged as Ra’s al Ghul when he first appeared in Arrow. Just saying’. Anyway…
But now Barrowman, reflecting on the appointment of Chris Chibnall as the new showrunner on Doctor Who, has thrown out some hope that maybe – just maybe – we could see him back in the Who-niverse.
The last time Jack appeared in Doctor Who was in 2010’s The End of Time but could we see him back?
“Good luck to Steven [Moffat] and Chris Chibnall,” the actor said, “I love Chris. Chris wrote a lot for Captain Jack, so… who knows!”
But before the ra’s Al Ghul fans kick off, he added: “But I have to say, I’m an Arrow man at the moment. I’m hopefully there to stay.”
What say you all? Would you like to see Jack return? We know that, despite being practically immortal, he eventually becomes the Face of Boe, so it could be easily explained how he looks a bit older…
Just a thought.
