Danny The Street will be in Doom Patrol! Plus leaked images of Starfire, Raven and Wonder Girl from Titans

Fans of Doom Patrol probably got excited during their appearance in Titans season one when it was revealed that they lived on Danny Street.

Why would this be exciting? Well, in the Doom Patrol comics there’s a character who may own the title of comics’ weirdest character… Danny The Street.

You see, as the name suggests, Danny is literally a street.

Now executive producers Jeremy Carver and Sarah Schecter have revealed a few things about the new Doom Patrol series that arrives on February 15th.

Firstly… this is NOT related to the DC Cinematic Universe (dammit!)

“DC has made a decision, quite smartly, to separate the cinematic world and the television world,” Schecter says.

Cyborg actor Joivan Wade adds: “It’s a different version of any other version and an opportunity for me to have my take on [Cyborg]. It’s an earlier Cyborg — he’s coming into his powers and a long way off to the Justice League. There’s a distinction between this version others.”

As for the core group themselves, Carver says there Doom Patrol like Justice League is always in flux and there will be previous versions of the team in play here too… including the aforementioned Danny The Street: “The show is dipping into different versions of the Doom Patrol over the years,” he says, adding that this is “a great jumping off point is the Grant Morrison comics and the Silver Age.”

And yes, there’s going to be an appearance form other versions and members including Beard Hunter, Celsius, Lodestone, and, YES!, Danny the Street are coming to the series.

But it’s not just Doom Patrol stealing our time here at FTN, oh, no…

On top of this, we’ve now got leaked images of Starfire, Raven and Wonder Girl’s full hero suits from the first season’s finale that was scrapped to be aired next season instead…  and they all look pretty great!
