So, DC Fandome had it’s second weekend this weekend (you can find all our coverage of this weekend and the first one here) and the first big bit of news is that your favourite bunch of misfit heroes, Doom Patrol are coming back for a third outing!

Warner Bros TV released the teaser below and said: “DC’s strangest group of heroes will be back to save the world again as HBO Max exclusively greenlights Max Original Doom Patrol for Season 3.”
It seems this is another nail in the coffin for the DC-only streaming service DC Universe, but it’s good news for the shows themselves as HBO Max is proving a pretty big deal and is certainly dedicated to DC content.
This is a similar deal as the Stargirl series from DC Universe heading to The CW’s Arrowverse as of season 2.
Of course, this is bad news for those subscribed to DC Universe, but it’s great to see the shows aren’t just being canned and will live on.
