What could easily be the biggest breakup in the HISTORY of television (yes, I’m being serious), it’s become apparent that Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy are no longer a couple. Kermit went to Twitter and said…
“After careful thought, thoughtful consideration and considerable squabbling, we have made the difficult decision to terminate our romantic relationship,” he wrote. “We will continue to work together on teleivision… and in all media now known or hereafter devised, in perpetuity, throughout the universe.”
As stated, they will still work together, including in their upcoming TV series, The Muppets, whether this will affect their work though still remains to be seen. The Muppets airs this fall on ABC.
