Earth 38 will join the core Arrowverse Earth 1 after The CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths

Another bit of exciting news coming through the vine today as we find out that after CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event, Supergirl’s Earth 38 will combine with the Arrowverse’s Earth 1… and it’s about time.

Sources from We Got This Covered have informed us that after this crossover, Supergirl’s new home will be on Earth 1. This will be in one form or another due to the Anti-Monitor and we will see both earths folded into each other. So why did it take so long to get to this point?

So the Supergirl series was originally released on CBS instead of The CW for whatever reason. Either way, this meant that with The Flash crossover episode they acknowledged that she is, in fact, on a different earth.

Now this was the first step of bringing her into the Arrowverse, but there were still more hurdles to overcome first.

We get to season two now and The CW has control of the show; now this is all well and good but we’re still stuck with the issue of Supergirl being stuck in Earth 38 in a different universe, so we get a few crossover episodes throughout the years to keep her in the group, until this moment.

With every major DC movie and TV series coming together this shouldn’t really be a surprise – personally, the bit of news I’m waiting for will be if they cast anyone from the hit show Gotham, possibly use Sean Pertwee as Alfred but age him to look like Sean’s dad and have him as Conway’s Alfred and that’s who the Gotham Bruce can grow into.

One thing is for sure though, keep an eye out for more news ‘cos you can bet there will be more.
