FIRST LOOK: Check out David Hasslehoff on set of the New Knight Rider series…

March 20th, 2017 by Marc Comments

We’ve known for a while that Knight Rider was set to return with David Hasselhoff returning as Michael Knight (here) and that Fast And Furious director Justin Lin was set to be involved as Producer (here) and now it looks like it is finally happening as first images have appeared of The Hoff on set filming…

The original 80s series has Hasslehoff starring as Michael Knight, a hero who travelled around in a talking car called KITT and it ran for four years between 1982 and 1986 and it’s become a part of popular culture ever since.

And there have been a few failed efforts to bring it back, however now streaming service Machinima alng with Linn and The Hoff are bringing it back.

We don’t know how long the new series will run – will it be a season? A Series of shorts? No word yet, but now at least we know it is finally happening… and if you look really close, as well as a tough looking 64-year-old Hoff, you will see part of KITT too.

We’re looking forward to this, having grown up with the original series. Are you?

Check out the images below….

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
