So we all know that on Christmas Day we will see the end of Peter Capaldi’s Doctor in hit series Doctor Who and the beginning of a very new era as Jodie Whittaker takes over the TARDIS and prepares to travel space and time…
And today we get our first look at the actress in her full attire form the series with her new TARDIS behind her:
The new look, courtesy of the BBC, features yellow braces, a stripy top and a long trench coat and we didn’t like it at first but honestly, it’s growing on us.
The 13th Doctor is the first time an actress has stepped into the role and has been the source of controversy so far, but honestly we’re looking forward to see how the show changes with her taking the controls of the universe’s most uncouth ship.
The outfit has us looking at comparisons from the previous 12 Doctors including Matt Smith’s braces, Tom Baker’s stripes, Patrick Thoughton’s high waistband and the png coat of, well, most of the Doctors.
But, we also see a lot of Mork from Ork in there as worn by Robin Williams in Mork and Mindy. Tell us you don’t see it:
Anyway, the look is suitably off-the-wall and we’re looking forward to seeing how see carried it off starting on Christmas.
