With Season 2 of Gotham wrapping stateside tonight, executive producer John Stephens has been talking about what – or who – we can expect next season.

With Gotham taking a massive leap in quality between the first two seasons, and opening up the flood gates on the villains of the dark city, Stephens promises more to come next season.

“We’ll be seeing Mad Hatter in Season 3. We’ll be seeing the Tweedle Brothers, too, if we’re going to bring the Hatter in. In line with the Court of Owls, we’ll be seeing Talon. And, we should be seeing Solomon Grundy.”

CBR report that Mad Hatter, AKA Jervis Tetch, was meant of season 2 but was eventually helped back for Season 3. And remember too that Solomon Grundy (born on a Monday) cameoed a few weeks ago in a blink and you’ll miss him appearance in the episode called ‘Unleashed’.

While we look forward to seeing Hatter and Grundy, it’s Talon we are really excited about.

One of Batman’s most recent villains, he was the product of Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo’s 2011 Court of Owls series and is a character not unlike Batman in so far as skill and talent go, but who serves the Court of Owls, who have already been set up this season.

He was a big threat to Batman, we can only imagine the chaos he’ll cause Gordon and so.

We hope Gotham can maintain the quality we’ve gotten used to because there’s still a lot of bad guys out there…

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
