Good news tonight for fans of the Young Justice animated series.
As we all know the series Young Justice, which features young DC characters including Robin, Beast Boy, Aqualad, Raven and more teaming up to fight injustice in the DC Universe.
The original series ran for two seasons but was cancelled in 2013 to fan uproar as the series was, well, superb.
However, to the fans’ delight, it was picked up by DC’s streaming service, DC Universe, and hit screens again on January 4th last year under the slightly new title Young Justice: Outsider.
It was then picked up by the service again for a fourth season and it seems that we have a rough idea of when it will arrive and who will be the big bad.
HBO Max, the new streaming service, and DC Universe will simultaneously air the second, highly anticipated series of Doom Patrol starting on June 25th, 2020 with an expect three month duration after which, it now seems, we will have the return of Young Justice.
Currently we’re hearing it will arrive in October and last until Christmas.
On top of that, it seems that Lex Luthor will be stepping up as the big villain in the new season. And we do love a bit of Lex as the main villain, don’t we?
Anyway, that’s the report we’re hearing and, from what we know so far, it all seems very possible.
What say you all? Are you fans of Young Justice? Are you looking forward to seeing the team return and standoff against Lex Luthor? Let me know…
