Just a few weeks ago it was announced that Hulu and Marvel were bringing out four new animated series (and one big team-up at the end) and in among those shows is Howard The Duck.
And, even better, it’s being overseen by Kevin Smith.
And, while little is known at the minute about the actual show, we do know that it looks like we’ll be having the star of the original 1986 movie, Howard The Duck, in the series too… Lea Thompson.
Thompson was of course also famous for her role in the Back To The Future franchise.
As for who she’ll be playing in the series, Smith is so far tight-lipped.
“I can’t spoil where we’re going, but I can tell you this: I already asked movie-Howard heroine [Lea Thompson] to lend us her vocal Quack Fu in a to-be-revealed-later role! And she did NOT say no!”
It’s not the most earth-shaking news in the world, for sure, but it is very, very cool.
