While we reckon everyone can agree that Gabriel Luna is nailing it as Robbie Reyes’ Ghost Rider in the current season of Agents of SHIELD, we all would love to know that the original Rider, Johnny Blaze is out there too.

And he may well be…

SPOILERS FROM HERE ON:

In the latest episode, The Good Samaritan, Reyes revealed that he sold his soul to a previous Rider to become the Spirit of Vengeance in this current telling of the story.

Now, he didn’t reveal WHO the other Rider was, however in the previous episode, Lockup, we see posters for Quentin Carnival. So? Well, comic and Ghost Rider fans will remember that the original Rider, Johnny Blaze, was a stunt rider with the carnival before he made the fateful deal with the devil.

In the comics Blaze also mentored Reyes.

And, just when you’re getting your head around this… Luna himself teases further with two tweets depicting the two Riders together.

What do you all reckon? We’re loving Agents of SHIELD this season and love the Ghost Rider too… but we really hope we see something like the images below sometime soon.

Do you?

Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
