Could Bobbi Morse and Lance Hunter from Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD be set for their own spinoff series?
We’ve been reporting for a couple of weeks now that ABC are developing a new Marvel series and now Deadline are reporting that Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood are finalising deals for the new show.
Palicki and Nick Blood joined the series earlier this season and, in fairness, have become one of the more enjoyable parts of the series.
The report is that SHIELD executive producers Jeffrey Bell and Paul Zbyszewski are writing the pilot episode at the minute and the go ahead for the series depends on the quality of the script with Zbyszewski set as showrunner if/when it happens.
So far Agents of SHIELD hasn’t been picked up for a third season and Agent Carter’s second season is still in limbo too. And with rumours of 12 Years a Slave screenwriter John Ridley working on a Marvel series and Ms Marvel being touted as a possiblity, you can expect much news pretty soon.
