Ok, this could get weird.
It’s not uncommon for superhero shows to reimagine characters to fit their needs. Arrow got a new family, Flash became friends with possibly future heroes and villains via Star Labs, etc.
Now though, an interesting casting detail for the upcoming Supergirl series may raise a few eyebrows. Jeremy Jordon has been cast as Winslow “Winn” Schott. Who will be not only Kara’s co-worker at Catco. But also her next door neighbor and love interest…even if it’s only one-sided at first.
What’s the catch? Well as the title of the article states, Schott’s alternate identity in the comics is Toyman, a big Superman villain. This raises many questions about what will happen both to him and to Kara as the series goes on.
