Lois & Clark star Teri Hatcher joins The CW’s Supergirl cast

January 31st, 2017 by Marc Comments

As a show that enjoys casting actors who were previously linked to the mythology – Dean Cain, Helen slater, Linda Carter – it looks like Supergirl is set to bring back TV’s most famous Lois Lane…

Yes, Teri Hatcher is joining the show’s second season as a recurring character, although at the moment it’s anyone’s guess who it is.

We do know it’s a “a mysterious new role that will become the new Big Bad of Season 2.”

Hmmmmmmmmm….

Anyway, Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg said: “No offense to any of the wonderful actresses who have also played the part, but Teri Hatcher is my all time favorite Lois Lane. To have her come back to the SuperWorld in a completely different part is an unbelievable gift to me, Greg, and the fans.”

With Supergirl renewed for Season 3 already, is it possible that Hatcher will be around for a while? Who knows, but it will be nice to see her and Dean Cain back on screen together.

What say you all?

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
