Some pretty exciting news tonight for those Star Wars fans out there who just can’t get enough of the galaxy far, far away.
If you recall, a few days ago (here) we revealed that Solo: A Star Wars Story star Alden Ehrenreich revealed that he had heard ‘soooome news’ about more of his version of Han Solo’s story being explored down the line because, despite the movie’s underperforming, it has found its audience and set up some very interesting story threads with Darth Maul’s appearance at the end.
Now the guys at the KRT Transmissions podcast have revealed that they can reveal that Donald Glover will be returning for a Disney+ series as the one and only Lando Calrissian, who he played in Solo and it’s fair to say the fandom loved his take on the character.
Now, we would normally treat this nothing more than rumour, but the KRT Podcast broke the story that a Bad Batch series was coming (here) well before the official announcement was made (here), so I would be inclined to put some belief in this news.
While it’s unlikely the Lando series will tie up the plot threads from Solo: A Star Wars Story – it might, but it’s not likely – we’d still be very, very excited to see the further adventures of Landa Calrissian on any sized screen.
What say you all? Would you watch? Did you like Glover in the role? Let me know your thoughts, gang.
