Wait, is Stephen Amell growing the now famous comic Green Arrow’s Van Dyke beard?!
The actor recently said that he wouldn’t ever have the beard on the show: “100% no. Never. Our show could go 14 seasons and a goatee will never appear. Hope that clears things up. Forever.”
But his latest instagram post (below) seems to indicate that he s now movie toward the more traditional Oliver Queen/Green Arrow look.
After he appeared earlier this season as the Green Arrow familiar to comic fans from The Dark Knight Returns comic (older, bearded and one-armed) we guessed it’s now a case of all bets are off.
He’s the Green Arrow now – no longer just the Arrow – so like Batman’s ears or Superman’s red cape, the beard man cometh.
He declares in the Instagram post that “The beard moves along” and we tend to agree…
