While we’re all looking toward Netflix’s Daredevil series which arrives in just over a week, the channel has now revealed a rough idea of the release date and showrunner for the Luke Cage series.
The series, they say, will arrive in 2016 after Cage in introduced in their second series AKA Jessica Jones which arrives towards the second half of 2015 – ultimately all the series, including Iron Fist will come together in a TV adaptation of The Defenders (above).
Heading the series will be former Journalist and supervising producer on SouthLAnd and co-executive producer on Ray Donovan, Cheo Hodari Coker.
So far we know that Mike Colter is cast as Cage, but at the minute that’s all that is known… we expect more news soon.
