Meet the returning cast of Twin Peaks in new images

March 25th, 2017 by George White Comments

Entertainment Weekly have also reunited the cast of David Lynch’s Twin Peaks on the cover of their estimable magazine (sic).

The show brings back Kyle MacLachlan as Agent Dale Cooper and dozens of the original cast including posthumous appearances from Catherine Coulson, Miguel Ferrer and Warren Frost, plus dozens more, including Lynch staples as Naomi Watts and Laura Dern (but no Freddie Jones – come on, Lynch, get him out of Emmerdale!), plus the likes of James Belushi, Michael Cera, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Tim Roth, Meg Foster, Neil “Biggles” Dickson, Richard Chamberlain, Don Murray (star of Marilyn Monroe’s Bus Stop and Wicklow-shot Hammer cheapie The Viking Queen, starring your writer’s grandad) and many more in roles large and small, while Michael Ontkean won’t be returning as Sheriff Truman, as he is retired, and instead of going the obvious route and casting the almost identical John “Lex Luthor” Shea in the role, a new Sheriff, played by the original choice for Truman, B-movie legend Robert Forster will step in.

We photoshopped the covers together up above but they are all separated as they will appear on the actually magazine below.

We’re looking forward to returning to America’s most iconic town. Are you?

George is 21, lives in Bray, still struggling to find a paying job. He has ambitions of being a mad genius, but is content with his current life - and has been published in SFX, Empire, Fortean Times, Retrogamer magazine, etc. He is still trying to get work as a narrative designer in videogames, and has a few scripts in need of sale, but they're probably a bit sh@#e.
