Following on from the very exciting news that we’ll be seeing a live-action Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian Season 2, we have some more cool news about the show’s cast for its second season.
Alien and Terminator star Michael Biehn has been cast in season 2 as an aging bounty hunter tied to The Mandalorian’s past. This is pretty exciting as Biehn is one of FTN’s favourite action stars from the 80s and certainly plays grizzled better than most (check out our interview with him a few years back here).
Added to this, one of my favourite funny men, Bill Burr, will be returning as Imperial sharpshooter-turned-mercenary Mayfield – yes! Mayfield was a great character in season 1 and I think it goes without saying that he’s going to have to settle with the Mando in the second year.
Gina Carano and Carl Weathers are also returning as Cara Dune and Greef Karga.
See? It’s still perfectly possible to find something in Star Wars to be really excited for.
