Do you like scary movies? I’m not sure, but it would seem that a lot of people like scary TV series. After the massive success of Scream: Season One, MTV, in conjunction with Dimension Television, have picked up the show for a second season.

In a recent interview, MTV Executive Vice President of Series Development and Head of Scripted Programming, Mina Lefevre stated: “It has been a wonderful experience working with Bob Weinstein and his team who are such connoisseurs of this genre and we are thrilled by how our viewers have responded to the reinvention of ‘Scream.’ We look forward to another season filled with suspense, horror and more twists and turns”.

As of this moment in time, nothing is actually known about the story for the second season. However, the green lighting clearly shows that MTV has faith in this project. I have not yet seen the first season of the Scream TV Series. However, based on this, I may have to take some time to watch it in the near future.

My name is James and I am a long time fan of Movies, TV and Comics. I am currently a student, wrapping up my education at Aberystwyth University. I have an undergraduate degree in film and television and I’m working on my Masters in scriptwriting. My personal favourite comic character is the Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), and I view the film adaptation as one of the most horrifying experiences I have had in a movie theatre. As far as film and television go, I am usually willing to give any genre a try, as long as the project is well executed.
