For the honour of Grayskull, Netflix has released a teaser image of the up coming She-Ra: Princess of Power series
The series is a new take on the classic 1980s toy commercial that was designed as a companion piece to He-Man as a way to sell action figures to girls, and follows Adora who leaves her life as a member of the (Evil) Horde when she discovers the magical Sword of Protection that transforms Adora into She-Ra who fights against the Evil Horde and forces of evil with a rag-tag bunch of magical characters and her loyal steed Spirit AKA Swift Wind.
We’re wondering if it’ll be anything like the new Thundercats series?
Some of the voice cast includes Aimee Carrero (Elena of Avalor) as Adora/She-Ra; Karen Fukuhara (Suicide Squad) as Glimmer; AJ Michalka (The Goldbergs) as Catra, Marcus Scribner (black-ish) as Bow; Reshma Shetty (Royal Pains) as Angella; and Lorraine Toussaint (Orange is the New Black) as Shadow Weaver.
Eisner Award-winning author Noelle Stevenson is executive producing and serving as showrunner, with the series premiering globally on Netflix in 2018.
