Commence your screaming!
Although no-one is probably too surprised, we certainly are excited… it’s official, Netflix has put an order in for a Punisher Series!
Very little is known about the show so far except that that image above is the first official image from the show (nice) and Jon Bernthal will reprise his role of Frank Castle.
Writer and executive producer Steve Lightfoot (Hannibal, Casualty) will serve as showrunner.
We’re not sure if the show will take place before or after The Defenders or even if Punisher will join Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron fist and Luke Cage in the Defenders at this point.
This is the sixth Marvel series with Netflix – Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, The defenders and now Punisher.
We’ll keep you posted as and when we get more details, people…
