It seems Marvel Television heard of DC’s pushing Powerless and thought, “that sounds a lot like our idea, lets try and beat it to television”. So here we have Damage Control and Powerless, two series’ coming to television, both with very similar premises.

However, it seems that Marvel is not content with one sit-com.

Marvel has revealed that there is one more currently in pre-production. During the Television Critics Association Press Tour, the ABC Entertainment Group President, Paul Lee, confirmed the project’s existence.

Very little is known of the project, at this moment in time. So far, all we know that it will be a sit-com, similar in tone to Damage Control and that there is no current release date for it.

When pressed for information, Lee stated: “That’s the one that’s going to be coming out this season. I haven’t read it yet. I can’t wait to see it. We hope it’s going to be great”.

Overall, there is not a lot to go on so far. We haven’t even got a premise for the piece yet. So, for the moment, I have no choice, but to remain on the fence about this.
