With things looking bleak for Constantine – yes, we loved it – our attention in now turning to AMC’s Preacher series.
It looks like the series has cast its Tulip with Agents Of SHIELD and Misfits star Ruth Negga confirmed in the role, making her the first confirmed cast member.
Tulip is “a volatile, action-packed, sexified force of nature, a capable, unrepentant criminal with a love of fashion and ability to construct helicopter-downing bazookas out of coffee cans and corn shine who’s not afraid to steal, kill or corn cob-stab her way out of a bad situation.”
Nipping at her heals, the second confirmed cast member to join Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s comic adaptation series is Arseface AKA Eugene Root who will be played by young actor Ian Colletti, star of Jimmy in 2013.
“Even with his horribly disfigured face and severe speech impediment, Eugene’s still the nicest kid you’ll ever meet… Stomach-churningly difficult to look at, Eugene’s the town’s reviled Frankenstein’s monster but that won’t change his earnest, sweet and pure outlook on life. Eugene’s character tried to kill himself and was left with a horribly disfigured face, hence is nickname…
