Ridley Scott has signed on to Pharaoh at HBO and it sounds totally mind-fryingly spectacular!
The series will be set in ancient Egypt and will tell the story of how aliens were responsible for the creation of the Egyptian empires… so sort of like Stargate meets Ancient Aliens, then? With a smidge of Prometheus… that’ll do for us!
Scott plans on executive producing and will direct if a full series goes ahead…
