With Fear the Walking Dead already on our screens and the Walking Dead returning last weekend. During a recent interview, the creator of The Walking Dead, Robert Kirkman, decided to build upon this excitement by assuring fans that there will be exciting developments this season.

During this interview, Kirkman stated that: “I think more than any other season, you’re going to not only continue to see our characters evolve, but you’re going to get to see them interact with people who have also lived in this world, but have evolved in completely different things.”

As well as this, Kirkman jokingly said that he hopes to keep writing The Walking Dead “Until he dies”. Something tells me his fans would be all too happy with that. With all of this in mind, this season of The Walking Dead seems intent on shaking up the formula of prior seasons, which is always good to hear. It is good to see that despite the deviations from the source material, this adaptation is keeping true to the most important part of the comic… absolutely nothing is sacred and anyone can die, at any time.
