RUMOUR: Micheal Rosenbaum in talks to play Lex Luthor in The CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover this December

August 6th, 2019 by Marc Comments

Ok, more rumours from the DC Events guys on Facebook which, while not confirmed, I will have have to say looks very likely to be true.

They are reporting that Smallville star Michael Rosenbaum – who played Lex Luthor – is in negotiation to appear in The CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover this December.

This looks likely as we’re hearing that Tom Welling will appear as Superman in the crossover and also last year, before the Elseworlds crossover, Arrow star Stephen Amell teased an image with him meeting with Welling and Rosenbaum and said it was for the next event ie crisis (here).

Although…

Rosenbaum – on Twitter – replied to a report that he was already confirmed for the event:

Then Cryer replied:

So, while clearly Rosenbaum is denying the news, I can’t help feeling the playful nature (‘Crazy not to’?!) means there is something going on here.

I’m going to put money on it, Rosenbaum will appear as Lex alongside Tom Welling as Superman and the fandom will rejoice.

What do you all think?

Let me know, gang…
