July 22nd, 2023 by Marc Comments

We finally have a teaser and release date for Invincible season 2… and that’s not all!

From San Diego Comic Con 2023, we got the poster above and teaser trailer, below, for the new season of the hit adult superhero series and we finally have a release date… November 3 is when Mark Grayson returns as the young but very powerful Invincible and now is a great time to revisit season one to get all caught up!

Invincible is an adult animated superhero series that revolves around 17-year-old Mark Grayson, who’s just like every other guy his age — except his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man. But as Mark develops powers of his own, he discovers his father’s legacy may not be as heroic as it seems.

Thoughts? I know you have them! Voice-off in the usual ways on FTN’s FacebookTwitter and Instagram

But wait! If you’re still craving some Invincible goodness urgently (aren’t we all), then we have something cool for you all.

As well as the highly anticipated teaser, above, fans will be excited to know that on Amazon Prime right now, is the Invincible: Atom Eve Special, a 50-min standalone episode telling the origin story of the character.

Oh, and voice work for season 3 is already complete, so Invincible isn’t going anywhere for a while.

Before Invincible Season 2, witness the rise of Atom Eve in this special episode. Starring Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh and J.K. Simmons. Featuring the voices of Lance Reddick, Stephen Root.

And we got a very cool poster for the special too:

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
