While we know Season 4 was plagued with lower viewer ratings – especially after the air time change at the start of the year (here).
However, there’s no denying that the later time slot allowed the show to be a little freer in its writing and it showed a marked improvement this year, especially with the inclusion of the really well received version of Ghost Rider played by Gabriel Luna.
So we’re not going to lie, we’re actually pretty excited for season five which has now been confirmed – check out the celebratory Tweet by Agent Coulson himself, Clark Gregg (below).
He’s definitely happy – now, with The Inhumans coming later this year, it’s time for SHIELD to really show us what they have…
