Well the Family Guy Simpsons episode is in the bag (see here) and now it seems that Matt Groenig’s other hit animated series Futurama is coming to Springfield. Well, we knew this a while ago, but it’s nice to get the confirmation…
Simpsons producer Al Jean confirmed at the Television Critics Association at the weekend that the crossover would occur in the Simpsons in November, reports The Wrap.
The episode will feature Futurama voice actors Billy West, John DiMaggio, Katey Sagal, Maurice LaMarche, Phil LaMarr, Lauren Tom and Tress MacNeille.
On a slightly darker note, Jean also confirmed that a Simpsons character will die this season in an episode called Clown in the Dumps. Hmmmmmmmmmmm…
However, don’t depair because the character will return in flashback or possibly as a ghost.
On top of all that, this season will see Jane Fonda playing Mr Burns’ girlfriend and Willem Dafoe will appear as Bart’s new teacher, Mr. Lassen.
