One of the most fun additions to the lore of Star Wars in the last few years was Visions.
An anime series that was not canon to the wider world(s) of Star Wars, the show brought us the serious, the silly and everything in between and while not all of it worked, it was never less than interesting.
Well, now it’s been confirmed that next Spring we’ll be getting a second series of Visions and it will feature creators from the United States, Chile, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Spain, South Africa, India, South Korea and Japan.
And, while no details were announced, Lucasfilm exec James Waugh says “Star Wars and anime has a very, very bright future” at Lucasfilm and there will be more coming in the future.
He also said that anime takes a long time and that probably means, aside from Visions, we won’t be getting more for a few years.
Whatever it all means, Visions was fun and I’m excited for more.
