Stephen King will be rewriting the ending of the new The Stand TV Series

August 2nd, 2019 by Marc Comments

So, it looks like the mast himself, Stephen King, is going to be doing a little work on the end of the upcoming The Stand tv series based on his best-selling novel.

The series will be made by Josh Boone and will chronicle the end of the world after a deadly virus called Captain Trips, wipes out most of humanity. It was originally meant to be a couple of movies (similar to IT) but it was deemed too big a project to be covered by four hours.

“The Stand will feature an all-new final chapter written by King himself. This new ending won’t be found in any copy of The Stand you pick up at your local bookstore, and there’s no telling what it might entail.”

What the ending will be is anyone’s guess, as the novel has already got a fantastic ending, so I honestly have no idea what King might be planning on adding to the story.

What do you all think?
