We knew it was a risk, but it seems that when Supergirl movies to The CW next season, it’ll suffer a lack of Cat Grant.

When the show moves to Vancouver we reported a couple of weeks ago (here) it will make work commitments difficult for LA-based Calista Flockhart who plays Cat.

And, frankly, while we liked the charm of Supergirl, Cat was a big part of the show’s appeal.

The CW chief Mark Pedowitz has said they are in discussions with Flockhart and they are “happy to have her in whatever capacity is worked out.”

The CW seemed sure that the show’s move would be painless and wouldn’t see any major changes t the show, but it seems this is one so far.

Pedowitz said: “I don’t think it will have a major effect on how [the Supergirl producers] actualize what they do.”

It looks like obstacles will be met and overcome.

We can’t wait to have Kara and the team in The Cw.
