Supergirl is going to be an interesting series to watch from the get-go. First off, it’s dealing with the cousin of Superman, who’s rumored to make an appearance in the series, if not the pilot, which could change things significantly if true. Second, it’s on CBS, a channel known for doing things very differently in terms of what they bring to their station. They haven’t done a superhero series since The Flash, which was cancelled early on.

In fact, there were rumors that the show would be transferred to the CW to bolster the superhero series there. But, that was stopped when it became clear that the budget for the show wouldn’t line up with what the CW could do, hence, it stayed on CBS.

To help build more hype for the series, CBS has released info that the first trailer for the series will come out on May 14, where they will have an event to show off some of their upcoming shows. We’ll of course post it the moment we see it!
