We were talking about maybe getting Buffy The Vampire Slayer back on our screens a few days ago and now it looks like it’s not Buffy but Charmed that’s coming back.

Yes, The CW, the channel behind Arrow, Flash, Supergirl and Legends Of Tomorrow, is looking to bring the show about a family of witches back to our screens under the watchful eye of Jane the Virgin creator Jennie Urman.

While very little is known about the new series, we can pretty much say it’s unlikely the original stars Shannen Doherty,  Alyssa Milano, Holly Marie Combs, and Rose McGowan will be back – or if they are we doubt it’ll be much more than a cameo as the one thing we do know is that the new show will be set in 1976.

The original series ran from 1998 to 2006, so it’s a safe bet this is a prequel series or ‘reimagining’.

Any Charmed fans here? Are you looking forward to the return of the show?
