Well, we knew it was planned but now The CW has revealed that their Superman & Lois series has officially gotten the series order.
After the wrap of The Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover last night (Review!) we learned that Clark and Lois have now got two sons in the new continuity and that The CW’s three universes of Arrow, Supergirl and Black Lightning have all – as predicted – merged into one, so this show will have brave new ground to cover.
As well as that, with Arrow only having two episodes to go before it wraps up, The CW is looking for a new hero to join Flash, Batwoman, Supergirl, Black Lightning and the Legends… who better than the Man of Steel?
Obviously, Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch will lead the series when it hits during the 2020-21 TV season.
As well as this, the backdoor pilot of Arrow hoping to lead to its own new series, Green Arrow and the Canaries, airs on January 21, and we have our first look at Mia (who actually rocks that GL suit) and the gang:
Superman & Lois will film its first episode this spring, ahead of the May Upfronts and is currently at the writing phase while Green Arrow and the Canaries has yet to get an official series order.
