The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow set for new – and old – faces in upcoming episodes

April 2nd, 2017 by Marc Comments

We’ll not lie, there are few shows on TV that are as silly as DC’s Legends of Tomorrow… and we love it for that!

With a show about a bunch of superheroes who travel through time and space in a spaceship anything can happen and it looks like it will this season too.

When season two kicked in we got additions to the cast including Vixen, Steel, Hawkman and Hawkgirl although Hawkman and Hawkgirl soon came and went, it looks like the team will have new additions next season (yay!).

Executive producer and showrunner Phil Klemmer, talking about season 3, said: “We haven’t fully pitched it, but we’ve got great ideas, and hopefully the studio and network agree.

“But so much of the show is working well this year. You just want to play to your strengths, and keep having fun.”

But what of the cast? Will we see changes? “Season one, the pilot sends you on this course,” Klemmer said.

“It’s like an ocean tanker — you’re not able to just flip it around. So what really helps is being able to do a clean restart. That’s something we intend to do next season, because it worked so well this past season. We added two new characters, we had two characters that sort of fell out of our orbit — obviously Wentworth [Miller] has fallen back into our orbit. That’s the wonderful thing about this show. The only thing that has to remain is the Waverider. It’s a time travel show, so the only thing that’s not going to change is that it always changes.”

So let the speculation begin, who will we see next season? Batman? Can it be Batman? Its probably not Batman…

Who do you think it all be?

In related news, while we can expect new characters next season of Legends, it looks like we will have familiar faces in the upcoming season finale of The Flash with Executive Produer Andrew Kreisberg as said: “Just that you should expect some familiar faces in the run-up to the season finale. “We have a couple of recurring villains, one major recurring character. It’s funny. Every year, around this time of year, I feel like there’s this speculation, no matter what show it is, that we don’t know what we’re doing — maybe we don’t — but there is a plan. There’s always a plan on every one of these shows. We set stuff up throughout the years that’s going to be paid off. Whether you enjoy it or not is something different. But we’re really excited about where we’re at, how these revelations are going to come [out] and how everything gets wrapped up by the end of the year.”

Hmmmmmm… any guesses who the old faces might be? Let us know what you think.
