The new paranormal drama from The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman has got its first teaser (below) and get used to the show because it’s set to be around for a while.

The series, called Outcast, by Cinemax – the folks behind the brilliant Banshee – is set to begin on June 3rd and has already been renewed for a second season, reports Deadline

We guess they’re confident in the series, huh?

Based on the Skybound/Image comic created by Kirkman, Outcast focuses on Kyle  Barnes (Patrick Fugit), a young man who has been plagued by possession since he was a child. Now an adult, he embarks on a journey to find answers, but what he uncovers could mean the end of life on Earth.

“Outcast has been a passion project of mine for many years,” said Kirkman. “Seeing it come together has been a huge thrill for me. What we’ve been able to achieve on Cinemax, with its unprecedented creative freedom, frankly, almost scares me at times.”

He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife.
