So we all got excited last year when Harley Quinn appeared in Arrow in a very brief cameo… and then we were crushed to know she woudn’t be back because of the character’s involvement in the Suicide Squad movie.

But it seems there was more to the original cameo too.

Arrow’s Thea herself, Willa Holland, was at MCM Comic Con in London at the weekend and revealed that there was to be more to the role but alas, it’ll never be: “We had big plans for Harley. But, I guess something came down from DC execs that told us to shut it down. I mean we had that tease with the pigtails and the ARGUS outfit but, we’ll never see it. We would love to Harley in Arrow but it will never happen.”

So there you go, as excited as we are for the movie version of Harley, can’t we just have both?

As an added bonus, we’ve grabbed the original unaired Harley scene for your viewing pleasure… enjoy

Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
