Well, this is a match made in gothic heaven.
Batman and Beetlejuice director Tim Burton is reportedly developing a reboot of The Addams Family on TV with MGM Television.
Smillville creators Alfred Gough and Milles Millar will write and showrun the series which will be directed and exec produced by Burton.
This would be Burton’s first foray into directing TV while he has produced the Beetlejuice animated series, he’s never been behind the camera off the big screen.
This news comes just a couple of weeks after the news that the animated spinoff was getting a sequel next Halloween (here), so it seems Gomez, Morticia and the family have a bright, dark future ahead yet…

He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer.

Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
