You might recall that Arrowverse showrunner Marc Guggenheim and Arrow’s Deathstroke star Manu Bennett were asked a while ago if there was any chance of a crossover with the Titans characters and the world(s) of the Arrowverse (here) and both essentially said that there was talk of it but it wasn’t something they could talk about.
And now, another bone has been thrown in the fans’ direction that this may be something on the cards.
In a recent live stream, Hawk and Dove actors Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly, who confirmed they are back for season 2 (yay!), were asked if the worlds of Titans and the Arrowverse could crossover and Ritchson, somewhat tongue-in-cheek, said it was “very likely”.
Now, we know that, tonally, there is a massive difference between the shows’ worlds, but we also know that the upcoming Elseworlds crossover in the Arrowverse shows will feature The Flash from the 1990s and quite possibly Smallville, so we don’t think the crossover has to be that big a focus… it could simply be Bennett playing Deathstroke in Titans (he is, after all, a Teen Titans villain) or perhaps a nod that, at the very least, Titans in on one of the worlds connected to the Arrowverse.
We think, with Guggenheim being such a big part of ALL these shows, it’s not something that is even remotely impossible.
Now, if we could just get one of the Gotham villains in the Arrowverse, that might just put the universe to rights.
