WARNING!!! If you have not seen (or read, etc.) the season finale to Star Wars Rebels…YOU REALLY SHOULD NOT BE READING THIS!

In the finale, two key members of Star Wars history emerged from the shadows. First was the return of Ashoka Tano. Yes, the beloved character from the classic Clone Wars series returned, and revealed herself to be Fulcrum, one of the masterminds behind the rebellion.

Though fans have speculated that Ashoka was indeed Fulcrum, it was nice to see her reveal herself in her older form. Remember, this takes place over a decade after Clone Wars.

Then of course, with the fall (ha, ha, ha,) of the Inquisitor, Darth Vader arrived at the end to show that the Rebels now have his full attention.

Though these characters are in the series now, don’t expect them to be there every episode. They’ll be a part of the long game, but they each have their own stories and histories (especially Vader) to live up to. But don’t worry, they’ll still be there for fans to enjoy, but this isn’t their story per se, this is about the Rebels.

Are you happy to see Vader and Ashoka in Rebels? How excited are you for Season 2 now? Let us know in the comments below!
