Tyler Hoechlin returns as Superman for The CW’s Arrowverse crossover this year! Yes!

August 23rd, 2018 by Marc Comments

It looks like The CW’s superhero Arrowverse Crossover event this year (check out when it’ll air here).

DC Comics (below) have revealed that Joining Supergirl, Flash, Arrow (plus all their companions, sidekicks etc) along with Ruby Rose’s debut as Batwoman in the event, will be Tyler Hoechlin as the returning Superman!

On top of this, we’ll meet a so far upcast Lois Lane… the mythology building is second-to-none!

This is awesome news. Hoechlin played the Man of Steel early last season in Supergirl and really nailed the role, so it should be awesome to see him interact with the rest of the Arrowverse… but surely Superman, Batwoman and Gotham all appearing DC will allow Batman to be in it. Even just a nod. A glimpse! Something.

Although Network president Mark Pedowitz has previously said: “Batman already exists in the Arrowverse because last season Oliver Queen mentioned his name at one point, And Batwoman, if the series goes forward, lives in Gotham. There’s no plan at this time to have Batman appear.”

But we can hope.

We’re just never satisfied, are we?
