Fisk Daredevil

With the first series of Daredevil, Marvel and Netflix established one of the best villains we’ve ever seen on screen. Vincent D’Onofrio’s take on Wilson Fisk set a new standard, and he upped the game in his surprise return in series two.

With The Defenders team up on the horizon and a third season for the Man Without Fear to follow that, D’Onofrio has spoken out about returning somewhere down the line, but he isn’t giving too much away just yet.

Talking to LRM, who asked about when we may see him, he replied “That I can’t answer. I do know, but I can’t answer … so take that how you will.

“Jeph [Loeb, head of Marvel TV] and Charlie [Cox] and Netflix love Kingpin, and so, Kingpin is good for Marvel’s television stuff and I think they agree.”

Speaking on the return, the actor talks about his appreciation for the freedom the role gives him, saying “Like, I didn’t have to sign my life away at all. When Jeph tells me there’s something coming up and if I’m available, I’ll be there. And because it’s written so well, I’m going to show up.”

Whenever it is we see him again, we’ll be very happy chaps.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
