The BBC dropped a very brief glimpse of Doctor Who series 13 at the weekend, below, but we’re still none-the-wiser about when the new series will arrive.
It was revealed at the events that Series 13 will be an anthology series, where every episode is linked in one huge story and each episode will end in a cliffhanger.
On top of this, Game of Thrones’ Greyworm actor Jacob Anderson will play a new recurring character Vinder.
While I have hated the last two series of Doctor Who as the writing was utterly horrendous, I do look forward to seeing John Bishop in the show.
Beyond that, I just hope that Chris Chibnall can up his game and deliver something watchable this series as star Jodie Whitaker deserves much, much better than she has been getting.
We also know that when this series ends, Russell T Davies, who brought the show back in 2005, will be helming again (here), so we only have to get through this series and hopefully, this ship can course-correct ahead of its 60th anniversary in 2023.
