The Purge Season 2 is coming this fall and it’s going to approach the event in a new way for the franchise.
Usually the Purge sees the events of the one night of the year where all crime is legal but season 2 of the series will deal with the other 264 days in the year… in a world where Purge night is a thing, what does it look like in the lead-up and aftermath?
It looks like the new season will not feature any of the characters from the first season, which is a pity as I actually like it – mostly.

Based on the hit movie franchise from Blumhouse Productions, The Purge revolves around a 12-hour period when all crime, including murder, is legal. Set in an altered America ruled by a totalitarian political party, the series follows several seemingly unrelated characters living in a small city. As the clock winds down, each character is forced to reckon with their past as they discover how far they will go to survive the night.
