It looks like Marvel are containing their animated series that are identical to the movies but aren’t part of the MCU continuity.

This time, it’s with Spider-Man and here’s our first look a the new series from Disney XD.

The new series follows 15-year-old Peter Parker as he comes to grips with being a superhero and rumour is we’ll also see Gwenn Stacy and Miles Morales in the series too.

It’s a nice throwback to the animated Spider-man of the 80s and we’re definitely on board… especially with the costume that is pretty similar to the one he had in Captain America: Civil War and also wears in Homecoming.

What say you all?

Marvel’s Spider-man features the creative team of story editor Kevin Shinick (Robot Chicken, Mad) and supervising director Philip Pignotti (Marvel’s Avengers Assemble) executive producers Alan Fine (Marvel’s The Avengers), Dan Buckley (Marvel’s Avengers Assemble), Joe Quesada (Marvel’s Avengers Assemble) and Jeph Loeb(Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.); co-executive producers Stan Lee (Spider-Man), Eric Radomski (Spawn, Marvel’s Avengers Assemble), Cort Lane (Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man) and Stephen Wacker (Marvel’s Avengers Assemble); supervising producers Kevin Shinick and Marsha Griffin (Transformers Prime); consulting producers Dan Slott (Spider-Man: Big Time, The Superior Spider-Man),Kevin Burke and Chris “Doc” Wyatt (Marvel’s Avengers Assemble, Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man).

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
