It looks like AMC’s third Walking Dead series has found its lead star in the form of Smilia’s Sense For Snow and Mad Men star Julia Ormond.
The series, now named Walking Dead: World Beyond, is due next Spring and sees Ormond star as Elizabeth, a “charismatic leader of a large, sophisticated and formidable force.”
New series’ co-creator Scott M. Gimple said: “I’m grateful for the talent, grace, intelligence, and humor she has brought to our set, our show and to this role. We – and the audience – are very lucky to have Julia helping bring this new world of The Walking Dead to life.”
Ormond in no small score for the series as she is an actress of much acclaim, and I actually quite like the look of this, so who knows… is there life in this old zombie yet?
