WATCH: Lucasfilm releases video to celebrate Clone Wars’ 100th episode and it gives us goosebumps every time we watch it…

January 6th, 2013 by Marc 2 Comments

Well, Clone Wars hit 100 episodes this week… and while this season has been pretty weak so far, we think there’s many, many great things ahead…

This new commemorative video from Lucasfilm celebrates the series’ 100 episodes in wonderful style. And makes us all at FTN want to go back and watch from the beginning.

The addition of the footage from A New Hope is a stroke of genius and I’ll not lie, as much as I love Clone Wars and Kevin Kiner’s music, the addition of John Williams’ music just elevates this to the highest spire.

Naysayers be damned, this is awesome and if anyone out there is still wondering if Clone Wars really is that good and truly part of Star Wars, come back and talk to us in five minutes…

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….

Man, that is cool. I’m still halfway through season 4. Can’t wait for Maul’s return.

Does Quinlan Vos show up again?

      Not so far Jonny…
