We already know (well, we think we do) that Peter Capaldi will be around for this year’s Christmas Special, so we reckon this is more of a red herring than the actual regeneration… could the Doctor, as happened every episode of the Tennant era, come close once or twice to regenerating before the actual event this season?
The adventure begins anew in two weeks…
